And then there was one...

Life is life a box chocolates... no really, it is. On my wedding day, I had absolutely no idea that in six years, my life would be completely different than it was that day. Know why? Because, by saying 'I do', I really thought it meant FOREVER. But alas, I hauled out that dreaded lemon-filled chocolate, my taste-buds turned sour, and I became a statistic -- which is 48% in Canada, by the way. Scary.
So, I took some time to mourn the loss of my relationship and am slowly (but surely) rebuilding my life. I am learning how to do things differently while discovering how I like to do things, in the process.
For instance, I LOVE drinking chai tea in little coffee shops, wearing costume jewellery that matches my outfit, and watching hockey with my Pop! In my married life, I never knew that. I am becoming my own person, living my own life. My ex and I got together when I was only 18 years old so, I know who the 18 year old me is, I just don't know who the 31 year old me is. Which is why, I'm on a quest to re-invent myself and re-construct my life... Hence, "The Reconstruction Project".
Stay tuned as I navigate my way through.
